Well, we had some proper rain today. The rainy season does seem to have begun – good news for the Canal.
Mind you, we enjoyed excellent weather yeaterday, for a trip to Colón and back on the train, though there was a heavy downpour later.
One of the problems with early rains seem to be the overloaded, and no doubt clogged, storm drains can’t handle the rainfall, with both Santo Tomas Hospital and the upper market area of San Francisco both being flooded badly recently. Being on a slight hill, it is something that doesn’t worry use.
