A quiet Good Friday in the city, not surprising as the Policia Nacional reported that, as of 6 am today, some 59,202 vehicles had left for the interior of the country for the Easter holiday. Mind you, the old city, Casco Viejo, was jampacked, mostly with tourists – although the churches were open for Easter services – with a huge cruise liner at the nearby new terminal.
