On 11 May, UK Finance reported that it had released it Annual Fraud Report detailing the amount of money stolen by criminals through financial fraud in 2022. Figures from the report show that people in the UK lost £1.2 billion to fraud last year. The figures also show that 78% of authorised push payment (APP) scams.
