OFAC SANCTIONS SUPPLIERS OF PRECURSOR CHEMICALS FOR FENTANYL PRODUCTION

 On 14 April, OFAC advised that it had designated 2 entities in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and 5 individuals, based in the PRC and Guatemala, for supplying precursor chemicals to drug cartels in Mexico for the production of illicit fentanyl intended for US markets.
