On 12 April, Tereposky & DeRose LLP published an article saying that Canada had imposed new sanctions targeting Russia and Belarus, and effective retroactively as of 5 April. Another firm, McCarthy Tétrault LLP, also published an article on the same date and on the same topic. On 14 April, the EU Sanctions blog also carried a post about the new developments.
