Panamanian investor Stanley Motta, a Panamanian who has a business portfolio that includes air transport, logistics, trade and finance activities, among other economic sectors, is said to now be on the new Forbes rich list.

This year, the annual Easter exodus from the city to the interior, saw 60,174 vehicles head out of town (they make the Bridge of the Americas over the Canal one-way), 6,705 more than last year. The roads in the city are noticeable quieter, but then most places are closed (and sales of alcohol and loud music are banned).

Meanwhile, the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Panama issued a warning of Sahara dust in several areas of Panama until 10 April. Authorities warn of foggy and reddish sky conditions, in addition to affecting those with allergic respiratory symptoms.

In the last 4 years, the Dirección de Administración de Bienes Aprehendidos (Daba) – the Directorate of Administration of Apprehended Assets – has received a total of $93,545,369.57 million in funds, the proceeds of crime or the proceeds of the sale of seized assets.
