UK LIKELY ONLY TO PURSUE FINANCIAL SANCTIONS CIVIL FINES WHERE DUE DILIGENCE INADEQUATE

On 5 April, an article from Out-Law says that UK authorities are not likely to take action against companies that work with sanctioned businesses if they did adequate due diligence on whether sanctions applied, but this puts the burden on those companies of proving that enough due diligence was done.
