INDIA-REGISTERED TOBACCO COMPANY AGREES TO SETTLE VIOLATIONS OF NORTH KOREA SANCTIONS REGULATIONS FROM 2017

On 1 March, KPMG reported that OFAC had announced that an India-registered tobacco company, Godfrey Phillips India Limited, has agreed to pay $332,500 to settle its potential civil liability for 5 apparent violations of the North Korea sanctions regulations in 2017.
