OFAC SYRIA SANCTIONS GENERAL LICENSE TO AID IN EARTHQUAKE DISASTER RELIEF EFFORTS

On 9 February, OFAC issued General License 23 which authorises for 180 days all transactions related to earthquake relief that would be otherwise prohibited by the Syrian Sanctions Regulations.  It provides the broad authorization necessary to support immediate disaster relief efforts in Syria.
