No power cuts today, but then a very late night, as the Chinese community’s fireworks seemed to go on until the small hours.
Among the news here is the story that US Southern Command provided 8 helicopters, 5 giant Chinooks and 3 Black Hawsk, to move some mobile classrooms in an indigenous people’s region. Southern Command, now based in the US, is the successor to the US Army’s Panama Canal Department that was based in the Canal Zone.
