KYRGYZSTAN: AML/CFT EVALUATION FOLLOW-UP REPORT

On 21 December, FATF published the 4th enhanced follow-up report by the FATF-style regional body EAG on Kyrgyzstan.  This said that the Kyrgyz Republic has made significant progress in addressing technical compliance deficiencies identified in the MER and, as a result, FATF Recommendation 8 (NPO) has been upgraded from Non-Compliant to Partially Compliant.  It will remain in enhanced follow-up and will continue reporting back to the EAG on further progress in enhancing the national AML/CFT system.
