OFAC: RUSSIA SANCTIONS – NEW INDIVIDUALS, VESSEL AND ENTITIES DESIGNATED, 3 NEW GENERAL LICENSES AND 2 NEW FAQ ISSUED

On 15 December, OFAC added 43 individuals and 21 entities to its Russia sanctions lists, along with the Cayman-flagged yacht Nirvana.  5 other existing sanctions entries have been amended.  OFAC also issued General Licenses 8E (authorising transactions related to energy); 58 (authorising the wind down and rejection of transactions involving public joint stock company Rosbank); and 59 (authorising transactions related to debt or equity of, or derivative contracts involving, public joint stock company Rosbank).  Related new FAQ 1103 and 1104 were also published.
