OFAC SANCTIONS MAJOR DRUG TRAFFICKER IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

On 14 December, OFAC announced that it had designated Jose CALDERON RIJO (aka “La Arana“), saying that Calderon Rijo leads one of the most significant criminal organizations in the Dominican Republic, which poses a major drug trafficking threat to the Caribbean region and the US.
