NEW UK SANCTIONS TARGET SENIOR RUSSIAN COMMANDERS FOLLOWING STRIKES ON UKRAINIAN CIVILIAN INFRASTRUCTURE

On 13 December, the Foreign Commonwealth and development Office published a news release about a new package of sanctions targeting senior Russian commanders for their involvement in the Russian military, and Iranian businessmen and officials involved in the production and/or supply of drones to Russia.  A Notice from HM Treasury advised that 12 names had been added to the sanctions lists, and that the existing entry relating to Said Mikhailovich GUTSERIEV had been amended.
