UK: IVORY ACT ENFORCES A NEAR TOTAL BAN ON ELEPHANT IVORY SALES

On 6 June, a set of news release from DEFRA advised that the Ivory Act had come into force in the UK, with a  near total ban on elephant ivory sales, described as one of the toughest of its kind.
