TERRORIST FINANCING TARGETING CENTER MEMBER COUNTRIES – BAHRAIN, KUWAIT, OMAN, QATAR, SAUDI ARABIA, AND UAE – JOINTLY DESIGNATE A BROAD RANGE OF FINANCIERS OF TERRORISM

On 6 June, the US Treasury announced the members of the TFTC – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE – had sanctioned 16 individuals, entities, and groups affiliated with a variety of regional terrorist organisations.  All of these targets have been previously designated by the US.  he targets included 3 individuals associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Qods Force (IRGC-QF), 4 ISIS-associated individuals and a company, 6 Boko Haram financiers, and terrorist groups Saraya al-Ashtar and Saraya al-Mukhtar.
