FORMER NIGERIAN GENERAL AND POLITICIAN FAILS IN HIS LEGAL BID TO HAVE £2 MILLION HELD IN SEIZED JERSEY BANK ACCOUNTS RELEASED

On 5 June, the Jersey Evening Post reported that Jeremiah Timbut Useni is a retired Lieutenant-General who was active in the Nigerian army between 1993 and 1996 under the regime of General Sani Abacha, and held 4 bank accounts with the Jersey branch of Standard Chartered.
