UK GOVERNMENT FACES COURT CASE OVER CONTINUED USE OF PPE MANUFACTURER DESPITE FORCED LABOUR CONCERNS

On 19 May, Jurist reported that the High Court has allowed a case against the UK Government for its continued use of the PPE manufacturer Supermax to proceed.  The Government is being sued over its continuing its relationship with the Malaysian company, despite an investigation uncovering allegations of forced labour in Supermax’ factories.
