EL SALVADOR TO MOVE FROM THE CFATF TO GAFILAT AND SO DELAY A MUTUAL EVALUATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH AML/CFT MEASURES

On 24 March, La Prensa Grafica had reported criticism of the decision to move from one FATF-style regional body to another, and so delay a mutual evaluation that had been due in April.  It is said that the switch delays the evaluation for a year.
