On 10 April, OCCRP reported that the sister of Uzbek-born oligarch and one of the richest Russians was added to the EU list of people and entities sanctioned over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Saodat Narzieva, a 56-year-old obstetrician and gynecologist lives in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Accounts etc in her name have apparently been used as a front or conduit for substantial sums, and she is said to be the “owner” of a superyacht arrested in Germany.
