OFAC ISSUED NEW OR AMENDED GENERAL LICENSES AND FAQ CONCERNED WITH RUSSIA/UKRAINE

On 24 March, OFAC announced the issue of General License 6A (Transactions Related to the Exportation or Re-exportation of Agricultural Commodities, Medicine, Medical Devices, Replacement Parts and Components, or Software Updates, the COVID-19 Pandemic, or Clinical Trials); 17A (Transactions Related to Certain Imports Prohibited by Executive Order 14068 – involving alcoholic beverages or non-industrial diamonds of Russian Federation origin and pursuant to written contracts or written agreements entered into prior to 11 March;  20 (Authorising Third-Country Diplomatic and Consular Funds Transfers); and 25 (re Journalistic Activities and Establishment of News Bureaus in Certain Regions of Ukraine).  OFAC also updated FAQ 1023 and 1024
