On 20 March, The Scotsman reported that an LP has been accused by the US government of aiding the invasion of Ukraine by supporting the Russian military and security services. Djeco Group was set up nearly 3 years ago as a holding partnership of 2 Maltese companies, one of which – MaltaRent Ltd – purportedly supplies equipment and services to filmmakers. However, the LP is now on the US Entity List.
