US SLAPS SANCTIONS ON UKRAINE BREAKAWAY REGIONS RECOGNISED BY PUTIN

In its 22 February edition, the Times of Israel reported that the US said the move aimed at Lugansk and Donetsk regions is separate from threatened penalties ready to be imposed against Russia should it attack Ukraine.
