47 ENTITIES, INCLUDING HUAWEI AND SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION, AS “CHINESE MILITARY COMPANIES” OPERATING INDIRECTLY OR DIRECTLY IN THE US

On 3 June, a news release from the US DoD advised that it had issued the list in connection with suspected attempts to access advanced technologies and expertise on behalf of the Chinese military.
