VISCOSE RAYON – THE XINJIANG SUPPLY CHAIN AND A NEW SNAG FOR THE GLOBAL TEXTILE TRADE

On 28 March, the South China Morning Post reported on an investigation which traces the supply chain for viscose rayon from Finland’s forests to state-run factories in Xinjiang – and then fanning out around the world.  It reveals viscose producers with links to sanctioned entities and factories within miles of suspected detention camps in Xinjiang.

US CUSTOMS FORCED LABOR FINDING ON MALAYSIAN RUBBER GLOVES

A news release from US Customs & Border Protection on 29 March advised that that it has directed personnel at all US ports of entry to begin seizing disposable gloves produced in Malaysia by Top Glove Corporation Bhd. (Top Glove).
