LAW SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND INAUGURAL ANNUAL AML SUPERVISORY REPORT AND “RISK APPETITE” STATEMENT 2021

On 19 February, the Law Society of Scotland announced that it had released this Report along with its first supervisory AML Risk Appetite statement.  The Report details the work and initiatives that the Society has undertaken between January 2019 and August 2020 in fulfilling its supervisory obligations, while the Risk Appetite Statement offers a clear definition of its attitude to AML risk moving forward.
