On 10 February, the Financial Post reported that the news follows the UK SFO having announced in November that it was investigating Bombardier over suspected bribery in airliner sales to Garuda Indonesia. Flag carrier PT Garuda Indonesia has terminated a lease for 12 Bombardier CRJ-1000 aircraft. The contract with lessor Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) was initially due to end in 2027.
