In an article dated 17 October, Hellenic Shipping News provided the fifth of a 7-part series on the application of US sanctions to the shipping community from Watson Farley & Williams.  It focuses on US sanctions on Russia/Ukraine, saying that the Russia/Ukraine sanctions programme is a complex mix of comprehensive, noncomprehensive and “sectoral” sanctions – it includes both primary sanctions aimed at US persons and secondary sanctions aimed at non-US persons.
