NEW OPEN GENERAL EXPORT LICENCE (OGEL) TO CONTINUE TRADING IN DUAL-USE CONTROLLED ITEMS WITH THE EU FROM 1 JANUARY

On 16 October, the Department for International Trade published Notice to Exporters 2020/14, calling for those interested to sign up for a new OGEL for when the Brexit transition period ends.  This OGEL will be required if you are exporting dual-use items (as listed in Annex 1 to EU Regulation 428/2009 to any EU member state from 1 January.  This licence also covers exports to the Channel Islands (a licence is not required to remove dual-use items to the Isle of Man).

I had omitted the following link (as it did not seem to generate much interest!), but it seemed time to add it again and say that, if you would like to make a (polite) gesture and help me with my removal and computer costs, I have a page at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/KoIvM842y
