FINANCIAL SERVICES (DISCLOSURE AND PROVISION OF INFORMATION) (JERSEY) LAW

On 1 October, Ogier published a briefing which considers new legislation in relation to beneficial ownership and controlling interests requirements. This new legislation aims to implement in Jersey the requirements set out by FATF.  Following a public consultation in 2019, the Law was adopted on 14 July and is currently awaiting approval from the Privy Council. It is anticipated that it will come into force on 1 December.

I had omitted the following link (as it did not seem to generate much interest!), but it seemed time to add it again and say that, if you would like to make a (polite) gesture and help me with my removal and computer costs, I have a page at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/KoIvM842y
