EU SANCTIONS AND BELARUS ANNOUNCES RETALIATORY SANCTIONS AGAINST THE EU

On 2 October, Yahoo News and others reported that Belarusian authorities have announced they are imposing sanctions against the EU in response to the EU agreeing to sanction several dozen Belarus officials accused of falsifying presidential election results and leading a crackdown on peaceful protesters.  See EU Regulation 2020/1387/EU for details of EU sanctions.
