OFAC: NICARAGUA AND UKRAINE SANCTIONS – NEW LICENCES AND AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS

On 16 July, OFAC advised that it had issued a new General License authorising certain US government activities in respect of Nicaragua and 2 amended General Licenses relating to the GAZ Group in respect of Ukraine.  It also said that the Nicaragua Sanctions Regulations had been amended to incorporate the Nicaragua Human Rights and Anticorruption Act 2018.
