VENEZUELA: CLAIM FOR GOLD HELD IN UK IS REJECTED

On 2 July, the Wall Street Journal reported that a court in London has rejected a claim by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro for the release of $1 billion of the country’s gold reserves held by a Bank of England.
