FRANCE: THE ENTRY INTO FORCE OF REINFORCED ANTI-GIFT RESTRICTIONS

On 25 June, Clifford Chance published an article saying that French anti-gift restrictions were strengthened on 1 July 2018 but with little visible effect as implementing regulations were not enacted. However, on 17 June, a Decree and 2 Ministerial Orders, mean that these reinforced restrictions should finally be implemented from 1 October. The article warns that undertakings operating in the healthcare & life sciences sector must be ready to comply with them.
