On 18 June, OFAC announced that 3 Mexican individuals, 8 companies and 2 vessels added to the Venezuela-related sanctions designations.  At the same time, 4 tankers which were recently listed are delisted.  The companies listed include a UK one, 2 US and 2 Mexican ones.  It has also issued a new General License 37 (“Authorizing the Wind Down of Transactions Involving Delos Voyager Shipping Ltd, Romina Maritime Co Inc, and Certain Vessels”) and a new FAQ 834 about the new General License. Those persons, entities and vessels designated are said to have been involved in activities in or associated with a network attempting to evade United States sanctions on Venezuela’s oil sector.
