The European Studies Union at Liege University has produced a report – “A Decade of Evolution of Dual-Use Trade control Concepts: Strengthening or Weakening Non-Proliferation of WMD”.  This contains a number of essays –

  • Evolution of conditions and criteria in the last decade;
  • Definitions of concepts: dual-use goods;
  • The definition-scope gap when considering human rights in EU dual-use items;
  • “Internal Compliance Programme” in the EU dual-use export control system from 2009 to 2019;
  • Comprehensive approaches to trade controls: pros and cons; and
  • National Control Lists in Central Asian Countries
