ISLE OF MAN: AMENDMENTS TO THE AML/CFT HANDBOOK

On 5 March, the FSA announced that the lists of countries that FATF considers should be subject to heightened scrutiny have been updated.  At the same time it advised that the FSA has issued sector guidance for investment business (re-issued to reflect the recent update to the NRA that has been published), Non-life insurance (re-issued to reflect the recent update to the NRA that has been published), pensions (the first AML/CFT Guidance document for the sector) and accountants (sector guidance has been updated to reflect the introduction of the AML/CFT Code 2019).  It is expected that further sector guidance documents will be published over the coming weeks.
