NEW US GENERAL LICENCE AND FAQ RE VENEZUELA SANCTIONS

On 9th September, OFAC advised that it had issued a new General License authorising transactions involving certain government of Venezuela persons including US citizens; permanent resident aliens of the US; individuals in the US who have a valid US immigrant or non-immigrant visa, other than individuals in the US as part of Venezuela’s mission to the UN; and former employees and contractors of the Government of Venezuela.
