US IMPOSES VISA BAN ON MALAWI PRESIDENTIAL ADVISER FOR CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS

On 3rd July, an announcement from the US State Department said that it was designating Mr. Uladi Basikolo Mussa, the current Malawian Special Advisor on Parliamentary Affairs and former Malawian Minister of Home Affairs, due to his involvement in significant corruption.  This effectively bans him from entering the US.  His wife, Cecilia Mussa, is also reported to be banned.
