PLATINUM GAMING: UK GAMBLING COMMISSION FRAUDSTER INVESTIGATION BRINGS £1.6 MILLION SETTLEMENT

Casino Beats on 13th June reported that Platinum Gaming, which is licensed to operate Unibet.co.uk and uk.bingo.com, has agreed a £1.6 million settlement with the Gambling Commission following failures in its AML and social responsibility processes.  This followed the case of a customer who had been convicted of a £2 million fraud been spending stolen money through several gambling operators, including £629,000 through Platinum Gaming.
