Slate.com on 6th June published an article about Operation Meltdown, an attempt to crack down on ice cream truck vendors that roam the city and avoid paying millions of dollars in parking tickets, by repeatedly creating new shell companies to register and then re-register the trucks to allowed operators to hopscotch away from paying gradually accruing fines on parking and traffic tickets.
