US TARGETS IRANIAN STEEL, MINING SECTORS WITH NEW SANCTIONS

Rferl on 8th May reported that the US has announced new economic sanctions on Iran, targeting its steel and mining industries.  The new sanctions target Iran’s steel, copper, aluminium, and mining sectors, all key sources of revenue for the country.  At the same time, new FAQ (numbers 666 to 671) have been published in connection with the new sanctions.
