OFAC ISSUES 2 NEW GENERAL LICENCES FOR TRANSACTIONS INVOLVING VENEZUELA AND NEW FAQ

On 11th February, OFAC advised the issue of general License 3C: “Authorizing Transactions Related to, Provisions of Financing for, and Other Dealings in Certain Bonds,” and General License 9B, “Authorizing Transactions Related to Dealings in Certain Securities”.  It also issued 3 new FAQ about the use of General Licenses 9B, 9C and 3C.
