UN ADDS 3 NAMES TO ITS MALI SANCTIONS LISTS

On 20th December, a news release from the UN advised that 3 new names had been added to the sanctions list maintained pursuant to UN SCR 2374, and on the recommendation of the relevant sanctions committee.

See also the news release issued the same day, saying that the committee would consider favourably the removal of these individuals from the sanctions list, should the key provisions of the Agreement on Peace and Reconciliation in Mali be fully implemented and should the individuals designated have ceased all illicit activities, including those listed in the statements of case.
