EU ADDS 7 NAMES TO BURMA/MYANMAR SANCTIONS LISTS

On 21st December, EU Regulation 2018/2053/EU added 7 new names to the list of those persons subject to sanctions measures.  This followed a report for the UN Human Rights Council in which it was concluded that gross human rights violations and abuses had taken place – in particular by the Myanmar military and border guard.
