UK EXPORT CONTROL COMPLIANCE VISITS EXPLAINED

On 6th December, the Department for International Trade published updated information providing guidance for exporters about what to expect from an audit conducted by the export control joint unit (ECJU).  If you are registered to use open export licences issued by the ECJU, then you will be audited at intervals by ECJU’s compliance team.  ECJU audits exporters to make sure they are complying with the law and using open licences correctly.
