SIXTH AML DIRECTIVE –STRENGTHENING THE PREVENTIVE FRAMEWORK

On 26th November, Eversheds Sutherland published a brief summary of the contents of the 6th AML Directive which complements the criminal law aspects of the 5th AML Directive adopted by the EU earlier this year.  The new Directive includes a transitional or implementation period ending on 31st December 2020.
