ANDRIY KLYUYEV – ATTEMPT TO SUSPEND EU SANCTIONS ON FORMER HEAD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE REJECTED

On 28th November, a news release from the CJEU reported that the EU court had dismissed an appeal against the extension of sanctions measures against Klyuyev in March 2018 to March 2019.  Whilst the President of the court considered while there may be grounds to appeal, there were not grounds for the application to be treated as urgent and allowing for suspension of the restrictive measures.
