DISSOLVED COMPANY’S FILES “STILL PRIVILEGED”, SAYS COURT

Legal Futures on 22nd November reported that legal professional privilege (LPP) can protect the documents of a dissolved company from disclosure, the High Court has ruled in Addlesee & Others v Dentons Europe, saying that the principle ‘once privileged, always privileged’ compelled the court to maintain the privilege “unless and until there is no prospect” of it being enforced.
