JERSEY: EX-LUMIERE CEO FOUND GUILTY OF £2.7 MILLION FRAUD

Bailiwick Express on 13th September reported that Christopher Paul Byrne (50), a former financier has been found guilty of misleading a group of elderly, vulnerable and financially inexperienced clients in order to obtain £2.7 million of their money, which he then invested in a high-risk fund and lost.  He was the former CEO of Lumiere Wealth Limited which was linked to Guernsey-based Providence, in an affair that has also seen arrests and conviction for fraud in Miami.
